School management and ownership

School management

We own three high-performing private schools – two in the UK and one in South Africa. While all very different in character, with unique identities as befit their strong roles in their local communities, they all share deep-rooted common values and principles.

International School of Cape Town

The International School of Cape Town is an independent, co-educational day school, offering a British-style education to local and international students from 3 to 18 years and has been owned by Education Development Trust since 2004.

Oakfield Preparatory School

Oakfield Preparatory School was established in 1887 and joined Education Development Trust in 2001. In Dulwich, the school is non-selective and aims to give pupils aged from 2 to 11 a caring, challenging and inspiring environment where they can develop during their formative years.

St Andrew's School

St Andrew's in Rochester, Kent, is a co-educational non-selective school for children from 3 to 11. It was founded in 1951 with clear and simple aims: to offer an affordable education with the emphasis on the ‘three Rs’ – reading, writing and arithmetic – and to promote traditional values.
